Accommodation
Prosper Supported living provides supported accommodation to young people throughout Tamworth and West Bromwich. We have homes with shared accommodation for up to 3 young people or solo accommodation for young people with higher support needs. Our homes are carefully selected for the suitability of their location and layout. They are typically located in quiet, residential areas, with access to local shops, community services, public transport, and colleges. Many of our bedrooms for young people are provided with En-suite facilities.
Staffing
All our homes are staffed and supervised 24/7. Our staff are subject to safer recruitment procedures, receive a full induction, mandatory and additional training, and regular supervision. Our Home Managers are required to have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience working with young people and at least an NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Health and Social Care, or a willingness to study this following their probation.
Support Planning
A support plan is developed with each young person, their key worker and their professional network based on their individual needs. The support plans are outcome based and cover five areas:
Be Healthy
Stay Safe
Enjoy and Achieve
Making a Positive
Contribution
Economic Wellbeing
The support planning is managed within a database system using an outcomes tool, which measures progress. Key work sessions are developed around the support plans. These are delivered in creative and meaningful ways by our experienced and knowledgeable staff team to promote young people’s engagement and ability to achieve their goals.
